These sails have been designed to be more affordable, with a lot of the frills removed and panels simplified to keep the costs down, but keeping the proven shapes, materials and build quality that emerges from the 'Simmer Style' factory. They are also designed to be less 'mast specific' than similar sails....rigging well on the Local spirit range of price friendly masts if you do need a new one!

Not all the costs have been removed from the sail though by any means.... the major cost saving is due to the fact that there will be no marketing or advertising whatsoever, and that they can call upon the development and designs from the Simmer loft!

All the sails will be kept below £350 retail for the biggest size, and that is a stable and fast 8.0m!!

The X-Ride is a camless freeride/freespeed sail with great stability not a million miles from the simmer x-tpe and v-type sails. X-RIDE is a powerful freeride sail, with a light weight construction,designed to be early planing and easy to handle. Featuring a six batten construction, the X-RIDE has a wide wind range and a great profile stability which keeps you in control even when strong gusts hits you.
