Sam Sills joins Pura Vida team - Cornwall Already a very successful windsurfer on the National Youth Racing scene we are keen to help Sam on to further his windsurfing on the race course, and more recently ripping it up with Ian Ross in the cornish waves! Sam has recently joined us to be racing Slalom on Simmer Style SC with Exocet Warp Slalom boards. In the waves he's already ripping on his Quatro 55 and custom made Ross Wave Sails. Congratulations to Sam for just winning the Bic Techno Youth Worlds in France! Lewis Merroney Lewis Merroney, a hotshot from Pembrokeshire, has had a great year riding Simmer Style, Angulo and Tecno Limits. He's also helped us with some heavyweight testing of wave boards, an particularly twin fins that has left him moving over to a Mistral Twinzer 84 for the rest of the year until the 2010 shapes come out! Lewis has already selected his next Simmer Mission-X Quivver after a sneak preview of the new designs to come.... Local Barry twins and Pura Vida team riders Duncan and Rob Sheldon have had a great year on Naish Boards and Sails to date, and after testing various new Twin Fin designs they too have moved over to that style of board! For 2009 they are riding the Naish Sessions and Fanatic NewWave Twin TE 72's
Alex Mitchell joins us on North and Fanatic Surry youth sailor Alex Mitchell was brought to my attention after booking a freestyle matr class with Steve Gibson on Fuerteventura. I was there testing new Witchcraft shapes when I met him and his very supportive dad Andy who is more than happy to travel and hit the beaches too! Alex has joined us on North and Fanatic as well as In Wetsuits to persue his love for Freestyle and Waves after some great youth racing so far....
Sarah Bibby - Student rider Sarah attends a lot of student and national events and is keen to push her sailing on as one of the up and coming female sailors in the UK. With the support of her partner Stef Hilder on Goya kit, she has really been pushing herself and looks forward to years more on the British scene. Sarah is riding North and Fanatic and Ion Wetsuits. |
